Niocorp has applied for 2 different loans through exim. The one worth up to 800 million has been a very public process with updates from the company throughout.

The other one is through the exim's engineer multiplier program. There have been no public disclosures from the company about this loan application and they did not discuss it at last week's presentation. I only did a quick search, but I can't find examples of any company publicly benefiting from this program. I think g-man first brought this program to the boards attention. Several posters have shared emails from Jim confirming that they applied and are awaiting a decision. He would not offer any timeline or how much they hope to get. Below is from exim's website about the engineer multiplier program.

The EMP will finance feasibility studies, pre-construction design, engineering, architectural and environmental services undertaken prior to commencement of the implementation phase of a physical project, supporting the award of major equipment supply and construction contracts, and development of technical and environmental & social information that are required to facilitate EXIM’s future consideration of requests to support the implementation of foreign projects.

The EMP provides added advantages by including an automatic entitlement of maximum local cost support and the buyer’s right to “roll-over” medium-term EMP financing into a long-term credit if EXIM finances the U.S. export orders associated with the project.
