The winter sale drew to a close a few weeks ago (although there are still some discounted pieces in Zara’s Special Prices section) and the next Zara sale will take place in the summer – just a few months away. It starts around the same time every year, so it’s pretty easy to predict the rough day it will start, making it easier to know whether to buy that dress you’ve been lusting after now or to wait for it to go on sale.

Zara’s new in section is bursting with exciting arrivals every single week, but if you’re on a budget, it’s definitely worth holding out for sale season, when thousands of Zara’s best items are usually available at up to 70% off. When is the next Zara sale in 2024? Our prediction

There are plenty of mid-season sales on for spring, but sadly Zara doesn’t take part in these. Zara’s next sale will take place in June. The summer sale usually takes place in the third week of the month. In 2023 it began on June 21st. While we can’t say for certain, we’re predicting it will start on or around June 19th in 2024.

This makes it a great time to peruse Zara and waiting a couple of weeks for the discounts to roll in. While discounts are rare at the high street shop, this is the one time of year you can safely assume all the items on your wish list will soon be discounted. You just need to make sure you’re at the right place at the right time!

As a general rule, Zara’s sale always kicks off on the app before it starts online an hour later. It then goes into stores the following day, so your best opportunity to grab the items you want before everyone else is to download the app. If something you want is sold out online, go to your nearest and biggest local store and you might just find it there! It’s also easy to create a wish list in the Zara app and it makes checking out quick and easy too – but more on the best ways to shop the sale later.

Below, you’ll find further predictions of the Zara sales throughout the year. Note that unlike many other high street brands like , and Mango, Zara doesn’t hold mid-season sales, nor do they offer discount codes.

When does the Zara sale end? Our prediction

We’re predicting that the Zara summer sale will end at the end of July as this has been the case over the past few years. It tends to last a few weeks, so it’s not exactly short-lived, but as these discounts are rare, Zara shoppers go mad for them. I recommend buying what you want as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, as the sale tends to be very popular – particularly in the first few days.

2024 predicted Zara sale dates

January sale: The January sale began on Christmas Day in 2023 and continued throughout January and February 2024, with up to 70% off womenswear, menswear, kids and Zara Home. Last year, the January sale started on Christmas Day (December 25th) in 2022 and continued throughout January 2023.

Summer sale: We’re expecting the Zara summer sale to start in the third week of June, on or around June 19th. Last year, the Zara summer sale started on June 21st and was exclusively online, before moving to stores on June 22nd. This lasted throughout July until stocks lasted.

Black Friday: We’re expecting Zara’s Black Friday sale to kick off the day before Black Friday and to continue throughout Black Friday itself which is Friday, November 29th, 2024. Last year, Zara’s Black Friday sale started the day before Black Friday in 2023, kicking off on the app before going online an hour later. Zara offered up to 40% off thousands of items, but didn’t take part in Cyber Monday.

Christmas Day: We’re expecting Zara’s winter sale to start on Christmas Day, December 25th. Last year, Zara’s winter sale kicked off on Christmas Day.

Sadly Zara doesn’t take part in any other sale dates throughout the year, but keep an eye on the Special Prices section for offers that are never publicly shared by Zara.

Where to find Zara’s Special Prices

When the sale isn’t on, you can still find some gems in Zara’s Special Prices section. While it’s not quite as big as the end of season sale, here you’ll find some discounted pieces you just might like across womenswear and womenswear. I’ve managed to find £10 shoes and seriously cute coats in there before, so it’s definitely worth checking out at the very least.

To find Zara’s Special Prices section, head to the homepage. Click on the section you want (either Woman or Man), and amongst the categories you’ll see Special Prices. Sometimes it’s highlighted, other times it’s a little harder to find – but it’s always there somewhere.

Does Zara do mid-season sales?

Many fashion brands hold mid-season sales, but Zara doesn’t offer these. Instead the brand drops a few discounted pieces quietly into their Special Prices section throughout the year. Sometimes there are hundreds of items in there, so it’s the closest thing you’ll get to a mid-season sale at Zara.

Which is Zara’s biggest sale of the year?

Zara’s biggest sales are definitely during December/January and June, as this is when you can walk into any Zara store and expect to find almost everything on sale. Items always get snapped up super quickly, but as it starts online you have as much chance as anyone else to buy the items on your wish list. You just need to ensure you’re online when it begins, as Zara shoppers are feral!

How much can you save?

You can expect to save up to 70% off during the Zara sale. It usually starts at around 50% off, before the brand ups the discounts as the sale continues. As I’ve mentioned though, it’s worth buying what you want as soon as you see it to avoid disappointment.

Our top tips for shopping the Zara sale

Move quickly

First and foremost, don’t wait for Zara’s sale to start before you purchase your most-loved piece. I say this because much of the time when something from Zara sells out, it isn’t restocked. Obviously if you’re looking months ahead this point stands, whereas the day before the sale it makes sense to wait until the following day and make sure you’re at the right place at the right time.

Secondly, download the app and start adding your most wanted items to your favourites list. This is because the sale always starts on the app first, whether an hour before or a full 24 hours ahead of the in-store sale, so it pays to have it.

Visit your local store for hidden gems

But skipping IRL shopping isn’t advised. If you miss out on something you’re desperate to buy, check out your local Zara as it might still be there. As many people choose to shop online these days, you’re more likely than ever to discover gems in-store.

Make a wish list

You’ve still got a few days before the Zara sale starts, so it’s worth making a wish list ahead of time so that you can check in and check out as quickly as possible. This will also prevent you from spending more than is necessary, which is so easy to do when there’s so much temptation!

According to Who What Wear, Zara is restocked twice weekly – usually Mondays and Thursdays. The worst day is said to be Saturday, so make sure you’re doing your shopping during the week. If you’re shopping online, these rules don’t apply. The website is constantly restocked, making finding gems much, much easier.
